I couldn't stand that game. It (and all the "racing" games after it) were all blatant rip-offs of Mario Kart 64. You can't replace the original, you just can't do it!

    I actually found it enjoyable.

And on a random nonN64 tangent, Crash Team Racing was pretty fun as well.

But how about Perfect Dark? That was as good as the original.

WWF No Mercy was badass, so were the Banjo & Conker games.

Anyone ever play the game Forsaken?

Kayce, CTR was PS ONE right? I loved that game.

Back to N64, another one I enjoyed was Star Wars EP: I Pod Racing, I was BEAST at that game.

I love my N64. I still play it to this day. You just can't beat some of the classics.

God, the number of hours I spent with friends playing Goldeneye... It was especially hilarious when we'd try to play hide-and-seek-deathmatch in four-player split-screen. Good times.

A lot of my time playing the N64 went into playing Perfect Dark and Starfox 64 as well.

By the time I had a 64, Starfox had stopped being made so I could never find it, but I would always play hours and hours of it at my friends' houses. I remember trying to beat the tank level after [saving?] Pippy. Frustrating, but fun times.

I also rented Goldeneye so many times it probably would have been cheaper just to buy it itself, which I eventually did. Had fun doing the single player [though it scared me since I was young], especially near the end levels. The multiplayer was also fantastic in that game. Spot on, and you could play for hours and hours.

Perfect Dark was kind of the epitome of the N64 for me. Played that game a LOT. I especially loved the multiplayer where you could team up with your buddies against the bots. Some of the situations were damn near impossible with the insane sims.
