The NFL needs to resolve the situation with the refs. Seriously, the replacements are awful. The Skins/Saints game must have been the worst officiated game I've ever seen.

People aren't going to stop watching just because of the refs. I don't see the point of settling.

It's starting to have an effect on other aspects of the game the NFL has claimed to care about. They wanted games to run more smoothly, and less injuries. With the way these games are going now, some games are taking close to 4 hours to finish, and the players are getting rowdy and frustrated. There is no respect for the replacement refs.

And it's only going to get worse.

Yeah, Jake Locker got hurt on a play that should've been blown dead. The league now has every reason to settle.

I think they are right. 49ers do look like the best. Unfortunately that means Seattle will have to get the wildcard if they want to make the playoffs.

I agree on all this. The Replacement refs are awful

I'm trying really hard not to jump off the manning wagon so early in the season.

You guys need Tebow back. He'd be 3-0 right now.

I enjoyed watching the Broncos implode with McDaniels. Bringing Cutler in is like the one good thing that Jerry Angelo did for the Bears. And now Cutler and Marshall are both wearing the right shades of blue and orange.

But yeah, with some actual pass protection Cutty can sling the ball whenever, wherever, and however and it'll get there. It's crazy how accurate some of his throws can be with such sloppy technique. At a certain point you've got to let it go and just have the guy play.

Dude, that offense was amazing. If we had a proper coach to run that team we would have gone places.

If memory serves correct he was let go because he had issues with the players as well. So that wouldn't have worked either. After they fired Mike they should've hired someone other the McDaniels. But it' s easy to see why we did.

True, but then he was given waaaaay too much control. And he couldn't handle it. It just sucks that Orton had to go down with that ship as well.

I felt really bad about Orton, but he's only a solid quarterback. He's not elite. He would the best backup in the league though. #1 goes down, you could count on him to win a few.

And the Chiefs had to block the Bears on waivers. And they played him against him. And then he got hurt on his first and only play.

Actually, Orton has gotten hurt in both of his games against Chicago.

They tried to get him back? That would have been interesting.
