Well, my theory is based upon the subliminal messages within the album Meteora. I think it will be dont stay. Why? Look at the tracklisting,
"Foreward" fades into "Dont Stay" and would be essential to the video because it sounds kool. Now "Foreward" backwards is " DraW eroF". "Draw erof" means, if my theory is correct, "Draw The Video for". You cant draw a video for a short interlude, it wouldnt be interesting, correct? So why not add "Dont Stay" and everyone will be happy.

Well, the TH was missing from efor and there's an "e" in video so i added the missing letters. and got "THe VIDeO" and just fliped rof and got "For". THe VIDeO For.

Ummm...that wouldnt work considering they spell it Foreword on the cd

 

i think it could ne breaking the habit because its not a hard rock song and it would suit it to have animation.

Awhile back it was rumored to be BTH after Chester said it in an LPU chat. Now there are rumors coming from various articles/radio stations that it is Lying From You. Those are the only 2 songs to be discussed recently. So i think it is one of those two.

Oh and if anyone goes to DLP, it says on there that the new video was played at the Chicago show during BTH, making BTH the next single.
THIS IS NOT TRUE. I asked in the LPU and many people confirmed that background clips were shown during the song, but not an official video. So we still do not know what song the new single is.

Okay now I can see it!!

 

I just hope it's not Figure .09. That song always felt really weak and generic to me. It just feels like a remake of 2 songs from Hybrid Theory. It's not a bad song, but it's my LEAST favorite off of Meteora.

Also, am I the ONLY one who DOESN'T want it to be Breaking the Habit?
It's a beautiful song, absolutely, but it would be refreshing for another heavy song to be released.

I think "Lying From You" would be PERFECT, but folks say that it won't be the next single. Oh well.

However we get it, it's still Linkin Park, and I can always go back to Meteora and listen to it on my own and enjoy my favorite song "Easier to Run"

 

I would really love to see a video for Figure.09, especailly if it's hand-drawn...

if not, then Don't Stay, since it's my least favourite song on Meteora, and a video for this song will make me love it...
(That's what happened when I watched SWAT and then Figure.09 came up, and I started to love it...)

yeah, i dunno about having breaking the habit as a single coz i dont think it would settle too quickly with a lot of people who arent into the band. but i think figure.09 would be cool. its a good song and would be a good single too. im sure people downloaded it already coz it was on SWAT too, like 2 of my friends asked me what it was called so they can.

 

The next single is BTH

 

I think a hand drawn video for BTH would be great. The song is so personal and emotional that it really would not be a good video unless it was animated.
