I love it. It's so much different then what they've releases so far and that's a huge statement especially since this is only a 30 second clip.

I can understand why people don't like it. It's nothing like they're past work and most people just don't like change.

 

I don't want it to seem like I'm arguing with you, but the whole point of Minutes to Midnight and this album are to prove that Linkin Park isn't bound by any genres. Everything we've heard from this song so far suggest it'll be very much electronic driven. For all we know we might only get some light, clean guitars in the background, much like Breaking The Habit.

Plus, how do you know this song won't be an exception? Breaking The Habit was an exception and it still became a hit single.

The fact that BTH became a hit single has nothing to do with what he said, he said it is an exception regarding guitar use.

Finally decided to join lol and I really like this clip. Just judging from the first snippet and then this new clip, I have a feeling this song is going to be very different. I actually expected this kind of electronic sound after hearing the drums for the contest and just got a vibe from the imaging that they've been using lately.

 

Listen dude, i've read EVERY page now and it seems at every fucking interval theres you complaining about the snippet, if you dont like it, you have an opinion. However, if you keep repeating this opinion and just basically defend yourself saying your not starting an arguement, dude, your posting a comment on the biggest LP fan site basically running down a snippet of a LP song. God, I'm a bit scared, hyped, amazed, scared, going wtf and loving it all at once. After hearing the "lift me up" clip and this, I'm a bit amazed at how different they sound and I just cannot wait to see how they flow into each other. I like what I'm hearing and I'm 10x more interested now. Pleasantly surprised and fucking amazed at how different this is.
