How come whenever anyone says anything good about this snippet, they get quoted with "Woohoo! Exactly! Now that's the spirit!" but when I say I don't like the track, I get a terribly written 12-year old flame fest about how I'm not allowed to talk about my distaste for the track, with the reasoning being "this is an LP fansite, try not to say anything negative."

Whatever. I'm glad there are a few people here who know how to handle a little bit of criticism.

Yeah, I'd say those will most definitely be a part of the lyrics, especially since we've heard clips of all of this... You forgot the "Lift me up, let me go" part tho

Same here bro. People act like we're outcasts if we so happen to dislike something LP does. I also find it comical how the trend is to rip HT and Meteora yet most of us wouldn't be here without those albums.

Yeah, me neither. 30 second clips are notorious for being bad examples of what a song sounds like. I kinda wish they'd be banished so A) I wouldn't be tempted to listen to parts of the album/song before it was released, and B) because they usually pick the worst 30 seconds of a song to listen to.

I don't know if I should be saying this on this site or not, so if I'm not allowed to feel free to delete my post mods.

Pretty much, if the album leaks there are many choices.

1) STAFF EDIT: No links to pirated sites.

2) (My personal choice) go to Google and search "(band name) (album name) blogspot". If the album has leaked, odds are you'll be able to find a blog post with a download link

3) You can also use Twitter and search the band and album name if the album JUST leaked. Many times people will tweet the D/L link if an album just made its way onto the web.

Actually, as Derek said, we're simply asking people to be constructive rather than just simply complain. We welcome everyone to have their own opinion but at the same time, know that criticizing the band may be met with harsh words. We're trying to keep things civil, but fans (in general) are known to be over reactive to unfavorable critiques. What you can do to help us is simply ignore them (that includes not replying to them and the like) as to not make things any worse.

 

I knew it was a great idea to finally join this site.

Aye aye, captain! It's really hard for me to ignore direct anger/attacks, but I guess the only way to fix a problem is to ignore it sometimes.

 

After replaying this clip a bunch of times, I can confidently say my favorite part of the clip is Mr. Hahn's scratches during the electro drum breakdown.

I am soooo frickin eager to see how this song fits together. Everything about it seems so crazy!

I was just wondering some tricks I could try on my own if I was feeling very pirate-y.

 

I'm excited for this song, and I really don't think this clip at all represents how everything will come together.
