First of all, I never said they wouldn't make it. I just said I was losing hope in the band with their recent decisions.

Secondly, how can you like their new music if you haven't heard it yet? We have a term at the LPMB for this, but I won't say it in here. Do some searching.

Lastly, I've said this time and time again, and I believe it bears repeating now (Fell in love with a girl, I fell in love at once and most come-- :wth: ). Nowhere in the rules does it state that you have to be a totally dedicated fan to be here. I'm sure it's perferred that one would in the middle of 'hater' and 'omgliektotallydedicatedlolz' for the sake of positivity on these boards, but it's not mandatory. If it was, it'd be pretty much like the book, 1984, and that would suck.

(okay, I'll admit that I haven't read the book, but I have a general idea of what it's like thanks to some of my teachers.)

i join you on that one there old stuff is much better i mean sure some remixes are good but listening to the old stuff (carousel) is awesome!!!

New materials.. good to hear that, I want the band to release sth similar as HT or just something new.. I don't know.... I can't wait to hear brand new songs from my fav band, LP!!!

I thing there will be 8(+-1) NEW songs and 5(+-2) REMIXES.
I was just thinking that all the new LP songs are old. "Breaking The Habit" - 5 years! "Somewhere I Belong" at laste 2 years. So I think that the new stuff we gonna listen will be new songs. I hope!

Personally, I hope whatever they're planning on doing is along the lines of Reanimation (which remains my favourite LP album) with guest vocalists and a complete reworking of songs of Meteora. I'm not gagging for brand new stuff just yet, I can happily wait for that, but I think a reinterpretation of some songs off Meteora would be very welcome indeed. I think what Reanimation was all about was showing how many different directions a song can take and I would be thrilled to hear how differently the songs of Meteora can sound when taken in a different direction.

Having said that, I highly doubt this is gonna be an entire album of "new" stuff, but I really appreciate the fact that the band are constantly trying to give the fans something to look forward to.

I think it's cool that they're coming out with something "new" this year. However, I think another remix cd would be like another filler untill we get a new album. Don't get me wrong, I love "Reanimation" but they just came with "Live In Texas"...it just feels like too much.

But I know what they're going to release is going to be top-quality and I'm nonetheless excitted.
