As long as the whole album doesn't sound like that, then its fine. They don't bring anything new or refreshing to the table with the elements they're working with which is a shame. This song is kind of fun though. Well as much fun as Meteora was if you take out BTH and ETR.

What little respect I had for HU just dwindled into Rebecca Black/Somewhere I Belong territory.

They are fine as long as I don't watch their videos. Hot chicks are seriously overused in lots of videos nowaday.

It might be interesting if they will change the producer for their 3rd album, make a turning point and outbreak like ATS in the fourth one. I'm sure I'll laugh all day =)).

Their one song rips off the main riff from The Cranberries' "Zombie" while trying it's hardest to imitate Meteora-era LP. This band is absolutely devoid of any originality, and while I normally wouldn't condone talking shit...it's pathetic that Don Gilmore produced one of the best albums of the last 10 years (Hybrid Theory) and yet 10 years later is still trying to make that same album with other artists. This sound was stale in 2004, and shouldn't even be around anymore.

There pre-swan songs and Swan Songs stuff was actually pretty unique. Duece's song-style was pretty nice, it was this new record where they became more LP-like.

^Must thanks for them or Don Gilmore?

Now I'll just wait for their 3rd album and see who will produce it.

BTW: Does the producer affect lots of things on an artist work?

It depends on there relationship with the label and personal preference. For LP, I think Rick Rubin was more of a...guide? To the music, rather than shaping the sound. For Meteora I think Don really tried to shape the sound with help of the label.

For Hollywood Undead's second album, there's like 4 different producers, and the tracks have a different sound (such as the 'acoustic' ones), so I'd say the producers effected them a lot, especially without Duece.

To be fair, Don Gilmore also produced Meteora. So any clout he might have had for 'producing' Hybrid Theory has gone to shit.
