Seriously, that part of miracles is the running joke within my division. And the best part is, I'm the youngest person at 27. Everyone here has at least 20 years on me... It was funny that a 55 year old man told me about an ICP song and how ignorant the song's lyrical content could be without any fear of recourse of judgement on the artist. He knew it was a joke song and also thought it was sad if one of their fans believed everything that was crowned a miracle in the song was legit and actually believed it.
That's the general guideline of how any forum discussion goes. In fact, a thread that STAYS on topic for a long period of time is usually stagnant of intellectual advancement of any sort.
They're not even close to ICP, and yeah they get a lot ^^^ of crap from fands of other bands. And I'm by no means a huge fan of them, but honestly some of their music speaks to me. Not the "wake up, grab beer, grab rear, shave beard, throw on some scene gear", lolz, but they definitely have some good stuff, thats from the heart, and thats why I listen to em. Most of the people judging HU, i seriously doubt have heard more than a song or two.
I make it a point to not judge any bands until I've heard at least a full CD from them. And from that standpoint, I think they suck. As much as a band or artist gets brownie points for releasing music from the heart, it doesn't mean a damn thing if it still sucks. To compare, Rebecca Black sang from the heart. Linkin Park released Meteora from the heart. Does it count for something? Sure. Does it mean it's good? No.
Ms.Black sang because she wanted to be a famous teen star and her mom had the $. Meteora has been Linkin Park's best ablum post Hybrid Theory, and I won't pretend I like the new ones more. Not that HU always comes from the heart, they've got some lol stuff.
