i was lucky enough to be at the MK show.. and it was clear that this was going to be a DVD. looking back at it, it was glaringly obvious really. there was far too many cameras there just for a 'normal' show i had an epic time whlist i was there, and i hope that comes across on the DVD - we'll just have to wait and see maybe a release before christmas? it would be a great stocking filler lol
I think it's actually because the audio on "Live in Texas" was treated really well and you're probably comparing the more recent live footage with that.
Uhhmmm....honestly....no. But he really sounds kinda off at certain times....like there's TLTGYA, and LOATR and SOTD. When he has to go like, kinda high and that's when he loses track. Or probably that's just the ultra sucky quality of webcast video/audio rips....
Chester has not sounded good on the entire Minutes to Midnight touring cycle except for about the first 5 shows in Europe in January, IMO. He'll randomly have an amazing performance of a song or two here or there, but he hasn't gone through a show and nailed everything for a LONG time, I'd say the last time that happened was the Japan shows in 2006.
Oh yeah....Japan...the Summer Sonic... was just amazing. Excellent exceptional performance, I must say. Of course even RaR '04 is amazing...but this was probably the latest best performance by Chester. Although I wonder why they're not releasing anymore videos from that show. I think everyone here would love to see QWERTY being played live for the first time, in proshot, that is.
