I couldn't agree more.
They're a biblical reference.
I hope Burn It Down is the weakest track on the album....
Mike's own descriptions could've been misleading. He said the songs were like "firecrackers", and everytime journalists talk about VICTIMIZED it looks like it's gonna be a fucking BOMB. Hell yeah.
Love how there seems to be a very nice mixture of soft and hard (and before you do it, did someone say hard? ) on this record, having ballads as well.
I was thinking the same
we need to listen to it to build an opinion
It will be good to listen some 2001 linkin park in 2012
give me that CD I can repair it
wow what a great review!!!!!
i love that line from Roads Untraveled "The love that you lost wasn’t worth what it cost and in time you’ll be glad it’s gone”
really tallking to me.
And OMG Victimized review just blow my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Was just about to post this line. SO GOOD.
Its so difficult trying to put together melodies in your head based on these small snippets of lyrics but I find myself trying to >.<
See, THIS is so much better than the other previews. This just keeps stuff short, concise, and WAY more believable!
Glad to know that mix of new and old, doesn't mean return to angsty lyrics. I'm actually enjoying some of the lines I read here. Very good.
The lyrics given are definitely promising. Too bad they couldn't hear POWERLESS.
oh my god lost in the echo
O my GOD excellent line cant wait
We’re building it up to break it down
I'm so excited now after reading the lyric samples. My favorite is Raods Untravled!
And you can't even spell it.
I like that the album is one big "hit" after another. Its like a constant blitz (at least it seems that way).
The aggressiveness seems to finally slow down at track 6 (Castle of Glass) only to be followed by VICTIMIZED where your eardrums get thrashed again.
This is the biggest positive for me - I wanted an album that was high tempo and hard hitting.
hey. chin up, fellow Atheist. biblical references can be beautiful and interesting. plus "ashes to ashes, dust to dust" is such a well-known saying at this point, they might not have even had the Old Testament in mind when they wrote it.
From the sounds of it that song would make the entire HT album it's bitch.
