Not to mention she was performing...in the rain [/b][/quote] Yeah...can't forget that. .... That girl can definitely rock out. I love her voice so much. I may have to get her cds.
Highlights of the show: Fort Minor instrumental of RTN playing right when I turn on the television. Madison being played over and over. Kelly.Clarkson.
I wonder what would have happened if The Game/50 Cent Hate It Or Love It video won, what Game or 50 would do.
The highlight of the show to me was when they played the Remember the Name instrumental when Jessica Alba came out. She looked amazing. On another note, what qualifies for Breakthrough Video? Last time I checked, Gorillaz blew up when they released Clint Eastwood. EDIT: I know it probably doesn't mean breakthough video for a new band because all those bands are old but I dunno.. Someone help me out.. I don't think any of those videos were groundbreaking or anything.. nothing new..
I did watch the VMA's, and it was an enjoyable show. I'm glad that Green Day did so well as far as winning VMA's went. Although, I would have been less surprised if the video inserted in the VMA's from Green Day wasn't Boulevard of Broken Dreams and was...oh let's say, Holiday or Wake Me Up When September Ends. Those were the best videos. But Boulevard of Broken Dreams was a good video, and Green Day still deserved all of the awards they received.
I didn't bother to watch it since they show it over again 1,053,435 times. Not surprised that Green Day won so much, either.
