Erm! What do you guys think about this latest program?

    Good Point:
I think that the user cannot nudge so many times already which is very annoying.

    Bad Point:
My friend can't send files to me. There's an error which say "transfer files error something like that."

    Conclusion:
Need to fix bug that had in this version.

It's not a bug, it's the stupid File Transfer Protection. I hate it too.
www.a-patch.tk if you want to get rid of it.

Oh and I'm an offical beta tester, so if you guys find any bugs, or find something not right, let me know right away so I can report it. :)

Very similiar to version 7. Infact it's a tad silly to call this 7.5 cause if you look at the changelog, almost nothing is different. Apart from fixes to some MAJOR bugs which shouldn't have got past testing.

I've tried to download 7.5 several times and it just won't load. It starts to sign me in and then it just crashes and comes up with the 'Don't send error/send error' thing every times i loaded it. What's up with that? And whilst on the subject of the patch, the patch will also not work with my 7.0 version. Again, why?

Can you give me the exact message it tells you (the dialog window)?

And can you tell me what Bucket number your crash may have
    been?

If you go into your Event Viewer (right click on My Computer | Manage | Event Viewer | Application)
Sort by the Source column = Messenger
Scroll down until you have Type= Error (white X on red background)

Double-click on some of those, (they usually come in pairs)

Then just press copy and paste here.

It just comes up with the windows 'Send error report/Don't send error report' thingy.

Is this the thing you want?

The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Messenger ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: msnmsgr.exe, 7.5.299.0, msnmsgr.exe, 7.5.299.0, 001ea409.

    Minor? Not exactly.

The video/audio conversation feature seems to have been...'redesigned', 'voice clips' were added and list of bugs have been fixed.

I haven't noticed a lot of difference either, but it definately isn't a 'couple of minor details'.

If anyone else has any bug reports, lemme know.
