Even though he said what he got I'll describe mine...

Type: Sony Net MD Walkman (the MZ-N510 model)
Music space:With LP4 (highest) compression, one disc can hold 5 hours of music with losing barely any quality.
Battery LifeThe battery life is around 50 hours on one AA battery.
Software: SonicStage is the main music program for the MD player but it requires XP to work and a good computer. Its pretty simple and its just drag and dropping files to the MD player.
Durability: This isn't the most durable product but it will take a fall from your hand to the ground alright, highly not recommended though...

Overall: I think that it is a good player, the discs only cost you around $5 and it has a good battery life for those long car trips. If you really want some good storage go for an iPod or a MP3 player with Atrac3plus compression, then you can get... well.... alot of music on a cd B)
