no he found a loonie, and maybe a toonie, lol, the thing about canada is when i wnet there and pade for a 5 dollar whatever, the cashier always gaver me change back, five or more bucks worth in change! hardly ever dollars, or paper money. so by the end of my one week stay in turonto, may pants could hardly stay up, my change wallet was full and my pants cargo pockets were loaded, had to keep tugging on my pants to keep um up, lol
get a mini disc player, thats what i have.if you plan to get an mp3 player with a built in memory card that you can't buy more of, you'll have to erase a lot of stuff. you can get 5 mini discs and a case at Target for 10 dollars (if you're in the U.S.).I'd say a mini disc player is easier to handle.
I seriously think an MP3/CD player works best. You get 700mb on a cd and all you have to do is use one cd-rw and burn 150 songs onto it and there you go! It fits in my pockets fine too, so no need to worrry about size. Try anything by Rio or Sony. I've been using the same cd-rw for the last year, all I do is add and take off songs and I'm carrying around 7 or 8 full albums at a time.
Oh, I forgot to mention something. MD player can go something like 52 hours on 1 AA battery. That's some magic right there. When my friend brought his MD to camp a couple of years back (when they were hybrid) we would take the dead batteries out of his CD player and we could get like 10 hours play on them with the MD
yeah i agree ive got a sony minidisc. its got a rechargeable and i hanvt charged it for about a month. and wen it gets low i jus slap the dry cell on (which holds an aa) and there we another load of power untill i get to charge it again. it was £250 but i paied £200 of amazon last christmas and its amazing, would neva go bk to stupid cds. and also get a net-md if u can afford it, well worth the extra little bit
I have both. An IPOD and Sony Mini Disc NZ505. I like both of them really much. Better than my CD player. Sometimes I bring my IPOD and MD to school or bring all three. It depends the mood I am in.
i have saved up more money and now i am going to get a mp3 player, either a ipod 10 gig, or a dell jukebox 15 gig, thats what i have narowed it down too, thank you all for your help!
I've seen some other models of the Sony MD Player that I THINK can record live sound. My friend has one with a small "remote" that you can hook up to the MD player and stick it in your backpack or something so you don't have to keep taking it out to change settings. There are some that support WAV WMA MP3 and ATRAC formats. I kinda started the MP3/MD Player craze at school a few years ago. When everyone found out I got an MD player for my birthday, a month later 4 or 5 more people got MD or MP3/CD players...
i bought the dell dj, becuase the ipod has awful batery life, and the dell just looks better too, and cost less, so i got it and for about a month now i have been useing it, and man! i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i got a mp3 player for crimbo its about 5g and can store 64mb of music which is plenty i think you can get about 20 songs onto it. and u can use it as a harddrive 2 transfer pics and stuff.
Get jan MP3 player, if you get a mini disc player, you one might loose the discs, and two where are you going to get the damn discs to play?
I read in Time, that Sony has a 40 hour disc for the MD Walkman to be released later this year. They also have another MD Wlakman coming out too I think. Oh, and I think this disc cost about the same as all others, $7 American, $10 Canadian or something...
Bah. I love my MD. I probably will buy an iPod in the future, but right now I'm happy. I have seven CD's on one disc which doesn't bother me. If your going to buy an iPod, don't buy a mini. For $50 more, you can have the normal iPod, which has 15 GB : 3700 songs. An iPod Mini has 1000 songs. If your an athlete, or spend your time ingyms all day, buy a Mini, if not, go otherwise.
Where do you people get MP3 players for so cheap? Mine costs £150 and it can barely hold 40 songs. Next time it breaks down (which will probably be soon) I'll be getting an iPod...
