    It might be a new divide type of thing except with different affects. I love Mike in the hoodie, he looks so scary lol.

    yaa Mikes gonna become mysterious lol..and i agree about the New Divide part..i also think it'll look like it which is fine cuz that was an awesome video..like im sure we'll see the paint fly off Chester as he runs or jumps around like in New Divide or something lol

    i would assume like a paint fight or something while Mike does his part of the song..thats what it looks like to me lol

    Nice! Can't wait to see the video. I love the song already but I say the video will be the final piece to make it super epic.

    Love the pics, surely will be awesome.
    I like the most Chester lying in the water, and all the close-ups in the end.

    EDIT: if they should post the short 4:40 version of the song, i hope that a long version might be avaiable too somewhere...

    Joe Hahn, Linkin Park's DJ and sampler directed the 'Catalyst' video (which will premiere in late August on MTV) name-checks Atomic bomb creator Robert Oppenheimer and the Bhagavad Ghita when explaining the inspiration for 'Catalyst' and its accompanying vid. “When coming up with the idea of the visual piece to accompany the song, I thought of the end, “ says Hahn. “What would it look like and feel like if someone pushed the button to decide our fate? What would it feel like if we accepted our fate in the moment of devastation? If we had a final moment to celebrate our final living moments, how would that feel?"

    Even the way Joe talks about the video & song, really explains and makes sense as to why this is track 14 on the album.

    Wow, reading joe's description of the catalyst's theme; it just gives me such different view and understanding of the song. It just makes me feel the real emotions in this song. Miraculous! And I'm digging these photos, it's got me thinking this may be my favorite video ever, it seems so emotion and intense. And I am really liking Mike's choice of clothing and that hood, it's mysterious but cool at the same time

    EDIT: Hey Joe, thought you might want to change the post to a specific time. MTV claims the sneak peak will be on

    when joe talks about accepting our fate, i picture that as the lift me up let me go part of the song, cause thats when the song slows down and the panic stops, and everything gets a new emotion.
