Do not know when will they announce it, but I can tell - I can't wait any more! They're killing me with this! Wondering how is everything gonna sound like and look like. For sure it rocks! I can smell it.
So, ... hurry up guys, people are f... nervous.

 

I do find it rather annoying to lie to fans, for hype or not. I understand that a lot of fans must be highly annoying at times, but I feel like you sign on for that when you became famous.

I'm not all out raging or anything, but I do feel it is a touch of a dick move.

Yeah, but the brats moaning about how every day they go without another album is a "slap in the face" generally seem to be a cut above (or below) the usual annoying fans.

 

Well, he had time to write a blog post. Unless the announcement is actually some multimedia thing (unlikely if it was to be in a quit twitter) then I don't see why they couldn't have just typed it out instead of typing out an excuse as to why they didn't tell us.

I understand you don't was us to all descend into an LP bashing frenzy...but I don't think we need to make excuses either. You seemed to agree the twitter excuse wasn't true and they just want to build hype. I find that a bit of a dick move, you may not, but it seems that that is what happened either way.

Honestly, I think most big bands probably have a subset of similarly pissed off extreme fans. I understand they are annoying as fuck, but I just don't think we have much reason to believe that LP have it worse than bands of a similar profile.

And if they do, it is probably because they take longer to release anything than most bands <_<

 

According to BILD (Germanys biggest newspaper) the album is coming out in September! There was an exclusive preview of the new record held at the Warner Music Headquarters in Hamburg.

Please be careful with BILD... i know it is a huge magazine, but it shoots a lot of bullshit at times. I am german too, my mother used to tell me they lied a lot in the past on many articles. And the article about LP seems to me... well... a bit clichè and superficial. Not saying is wrong, but don't accuse bands of delayings if others writes down things just to sell more paper...

 

Sounds like bs to me. They don't preview albums that far in advance.
