Whatever site it is, they're lying. "Numb" won't be premiered anywhere until September 1st.

I live in the UK and I saw Numb on Kerrang this afternoon, so it is possible that it's been aired elsewhere as well. I've been watching out for it, because on the Teletext service we get here, it was reported that Numb would be released on September 1 (which apparently is the same release date as 'Going Under' by Evanescence here in the UK, so that should be an interesting "chart battle"). So I kept an eye out for the video because I knew it would be aired a few weeks before the single came out.

Very cool video it is too by the way. For someone who's just recently been ill, Chester looks quite healthy.

It makes perfect sense that the UK is apparently the first country that Numb has been aired in. Faint might riding high in the rock charts in the U.S but over here in Britain, it's long since charted and dropped out. With Linkin Park about to hit these shores for the Carling/Reading festivals, September 1 is a good release date for the single. Not quite sure how it works in the States but here videos are usually released at least 2-3 weeks before the single is out on sale. In some instances, the gap between the video first airing and the single actually going on sale can be much longer. Heck, I've seen videos on t.v six weeks before the single was actually released! It's all about video rotation=heavy promotion=great charting position. Singles debut and then decline down the charts, only very occasionally do they rise once they've initially charted. The record companies on this side of the atlantic are well aware of how the British charts work.

well if Numb is getting played in the UK then can you or any of your peeps rib it and put it in some website for us to watch.

A couple of people on the LP forums said they've seen it as well, so I believe them...I wonder when they'll be releasing the vid in North America?

ok there very poor quality because i had to record the video off kerrang and then take pictures of them via my tv but there the best i can do im afraid

also sorry about the light dot in the middle of the picture that looks like a lighbulb. Its the reflection from the flash on my camera and you can't turn it off
