I liked all the mash-up things in the beginning but this seems to be a little bit over the top
"DMX Vs. Nirvana" come on :s that's just making something that's respected by many people to crap (mant Nirvana fans might not even like Rap)
    that's what i think ...

edit: this might suite LP cause it's hip hop based music already.
hope they don't mess this up (don't think so but ...)

This is not over the top at all. This is the key to mash-ups... taking songs you wouldn't think to be put together, and putting it together. That's why the LPJZ mash-up wasn't as great as it could have been. That's why the Grey Album was so well-recieved.

Do you think that Beatles fans liked Jay-Z? No, but I'm sure after the Grey Album, they at least respected Jay-Z. Hell, maybe even bought some CDs. I know that I got into Jay more because of that.

Take the American Edit. Green Day mashed with Queen, Aerosmith, Kanye, etc. I actually could bear listening to American Idiot afterwards.

I look forward to the mash-up. Many people know that the original rap beats came from rock songs, so it might turn out to be revolutionary...

It's pretty interesting, but awkward on the first listening.

I can't find the mixtape, but I'm listening to the clip of Lil Jon vs. Ozzy. Sounds really cool.

You can find the mixtape at a very popular FM message board.

I'm listening to it right now.

Chester's voice sounds different without the Papercut music. At least when he doesn't scream.

It's the way that the DJ's got the acapella. They took the original Papercut, and isolated the voice from the music. It's very difficult to get a good voice, since parts of the voice are laid out on other tracks of the music, so you don't get the "full voice."
