Mike Shinoda has been recently hinting about a new song coming out soon from his upcoming Post Traumatic album, even going so far as to play a snippet of a never-before-heard song on a recent livechat on his Instagram. It is now safe to say, based on the below screenshot of the iTunes Music Store, that the new song is titled "About You" and features a collaboration with blackbear. You may recognize that name from a production credit on Linkin Park's "Sorry For Now" from last year's One More Light. Update: Our friends at LPLive are now confirming that the song will be premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats1 radio show tomorrow, Thursday, April 26, at 9am PST / 12pm EST / 4pm GMT. We are currently unclear as to when the song will hit digital music platforms, but the release trend for prior Post Traumatic songs points to Thursday as well. I'm very excited for the new song! Loved all the Post Traumatic tracks so far and I'm sure this one will be no exception.
It seems like hes done the Clip (maybe the whole Video) from his trip to asia! Im on HYPETRAIN! Tshutshu! 6 pm german time
I don't know what's more impressive: that he filmed that music video during his trip and it's already done or that he somehow is okay with having a radio interview at 9AM. I can barely acknowledge the people around me around that time, much less be amiable towards them.
We love you Mike. Keep being awesome! I guess I will wait for the YouTube video to become live. I wanted to listen live but you need apple Music or ITunes to do so. #SpotifyFamily
