Whaaaaa? Business, Say What You Say, and My Dad's Gone Crazy were the most mediocre of all of the mediocre beats from Dre.
I'm expecting at least 2 or more collaborations on this album. I can see why the band wanted to add guests for the first time on a studio LP after Mike's quote in that Pigeons and Planes article from 6 months back: If they really want to bring back the carnivores into mainstream music, they've got to have some big names into their album. Rakim is a god in the hip hop community, which gives LP a lot of credibility. No complaints about his guest spot. But I think they might be adding a more current/relevant artist onto the album's roster.
Wasn't the Foo Fighters a planned surprise guest at that Weenie Roast? Why would LP hate Dave Grohl for that? Both Mike and Chester have met him, although I'm pretty sure Dave put a fake front just to be nice.
There was a Q&A Mike Shinoda did a few years ago or so where he was asked what modern artist would be suitable to collab with LP and he said Eminem , so I would guess that would have at least crossed his mind to have him on a song from this album.
She's probably one of the most suitable female vocalists to be on a LP album, would like to see that happen
God, no, she's the worst part of Evanescence. Their last album is great and she ruins it with her monotone voice.
Honestly, if any female artist were to be featured on the record, I would rather it be Meg Myers or Kelli Ali, the latter who was featured on Reanimation.
People talking about Linkin Park collaborating with Eminem or Amy Lee? The time machine works, I'm back in 2003!
