And also the worst marketing ever?

You know what would be cool though? If everyone who bought the pre-sale got a digital download of the entire cd tomorrow, until the physical cd is ready in a couple months? XD

I don't think the CD is done yet though, and am pretty positive it was just poor word choice sadly.

    Living Things.

Like, "things" that are living, or the things we are living? Weird title. I hope they make it clear tommorrow, what does it mean and how did they come up with it.

I've always really liked the title because I myself can read into a lot of meaning from it...

The descriptions and the direction of the album, from what I've heard about though, I'm very uneasy about the entire thing.

The Catalyst is the perfect song to describe "A Thousand Suns" if "Burn it Down" is to "Living Things" as TC is to ATS then I probably won't end up loving the album.

It might be great though. So we'll see.

Well, I guess it makes sense since they're talking about people.

Mike's blog post was very well done. I can really tell this album is going to be a very big deal for them, I can't wait!

I think they chose Living Things as the album title because it's simple and doesn't give off a very intriguing reaction, so when we hear the album, it's gonna surprise us and not sound simple at all.

I'm not crazy about the title, but to put a modern day twist on Shakespeare "A [Hybrid Theory] by any other name would sound just as [awesome]." So, whatever the title of the album is, it's not gonna affect how good the music is. So, I'm stoked either way!!

Meh oh well. My first reaction reading that the title LIVING THINGS would be a possible album name, I just didn't like it. Compared to their past album names this one is definitely the weakest. This is my opinion now but I'm going to wait for LP's explanation and theory on why the album is titled the way it is, but it still wont kill the fact that at first glance for many people, if not most, the title LIVING THINGS is pretty weak and generic I guess you could even say.

That being said, I am completely psyched for Burn It Down and the album details getting released tomorrow!!!!

I'm wondering if "Living Things" isn't supposed to be describing the music. Just look at the evolution the band has taken, especially over the last few albums, and the importance Mike has put on that.

Titles mean nothing for me but a new way to describe an era in the career of Linkin Park, this one is now LT.

Epic! I always thought that in a way, A Thousand Suns was going back to the Hybrid sound since it also blended various genres however, this album will put the old LP sound into the mix so I guess this is return to the real Hybrid sound. Looking forward to it!

Right now, I don't like the album name, but anyway, what really matters is the content of the album. So I won't judge the book by it's cover.

The album will be delivered to you by a pigeon. The disc will contain a new kind of virus and bacteria. Those little LIVING THINGS will infect and control you, making your mind knows nothing but "BRAINZZZZZ". VIRAL CAMPAIGN as they said :awesome:.
