Its a mash-up album with Lil' Jon and its called CRUNKISION COURSE, thats right, all your favorite Linkin Park songs mashed up with Lil' Jon's lyrics and beats, featuring:

"Hit the Floor/Get Low"
"Breaking The Habit/Stick That Thang Out"

 

I think what he is going to say is that they have been working on the album and around when we can expect it. The general public has no idea LP is working on an album so this news will be big to them and a general idea of when the album may be released will be perfect information to go along with the previous announcement.

Yah I dont tihnk it will be a release date as I doubt they even have a clue. If it is anything about the new album it might be the name of it otherwise I tihnk it might be sometihng about that new song that Phoenix mentioned in an earlier interview.

 

Sometimes I think Mike gets these ideas the day he announces them and can't live up to them.

Maybe he's going to announce the other producer for the album.

 

Maybe Mike will announce that Linkin Park is breaking up, because he needs to break away from the ties he has to the band to be sucessful as a RAP artist.

 

no offense or anything but didnt mike say that it would be a little announcement that we would LIKE because liking lp break up isnt cool to me

 

They're not breaking up. I'm pretty sure that was a joke.

 

I can't wait for the grammys. I'm thinking that the news will be that the mixtape is coming out soon, or something to that extent. I've never really watched the grammys before, so what happens? Will LP/JZ perform the song live, or do they just vote?

Some of you guys were making fun of LP and stuff saying, maybe they'll break up, or doing a mash-up with Lil' Jon. They're not breaking up. But the others news about Lil' Jon, not that it will happen, but I kind of agree. Mashing up with Jay-Z wasn't that great. I mean, I like the sound and album, but it kind of pissed me off that my favorite LP songs like Faint, Numb, In The End, One Step Closer, and Papercut were mashed up with rap songs. Jay-Z is awesome, but it kind of threw the LP lyrics to shit.

 

i dont think so,in fact i thought mashing with jay-z kicked ass cause if your like me and like rap as much as rock it sounded great and plus it was my fav songs by jay z and lp that they mashed so it was a good choice in my book =D
