That's not an excuse. You can't expect the jury to acquit Jackson because he was abused as child. His past life shouldn't have a bearing on his verdict because of what he did to this kid. Edit: Oh, wait, it's the American justice system. Who knows.
Fair enough, but sexual abuse is sexual abuse, and if he did that, whether or not it was physical, he needs to pay the price. I don't really agree with blaming his behavior on his childhood either. Not every child who is abused turns out to be fucked up (in fact, a lot try to turn their life around because they don't want to be like the way their parents were). McCulleh Coulkin(sp? The kid from Home Alone 1&2), was on Larry king Live a good ways back towards the middle of 2004, when his new movie was comming out. Well, they got to the point of talking about Michael and all that crap and if my memory serves me right, McCulleh(again, sp?) was telling Larry about how cool Michael was and they were "best friends"... He even said he did infact, spend lots of nights over at Michael's house, and did sleep in the same bed a few times, too.
I wouldn't be surprised if he has molested a child at some point, but maybe not in this case. But either way, it was a bad move to say that sleeping with children is the most natural thing you can do as an adult.
Well now the accuser's brother has admitted to lying under oath, so who really knows. His mother has lied for money before and now his brother has admitted to lying. I hope Jackson goes free, I really hope he didnt do it because I really respect him as a musician.
CourtTV was showing that interview with him the British journalist did. I never saw it before but watched a portion of it. He said that any parent who does NOT let their kid sleep in the same bed as strangers is wacko and how its natural for kids and adults to share the same bed. If anyone's wacko, it's him, and the only way I'll believe he's innocent is if the kid himself says its all a lie. I strongly believe in innocent until proven guilty, but what MJ said in that interview, plus how he paid the boy in the 1993 case to stfu, he's been proven guilty, and the defense will have a tough time defending the sick son of a bitch if he can't use his 5th amendment rights.
