Sports go before anything else in life.
Sucks that some of his fans might be pissed off, but knowing that he's from British Columbia and a die-hard Canucks fan, I can see why he did it. The NHL isn't like other leagues where a few teams routinely make the finals. In fact, the last 8 Stanley Cup playoffs have yielded 8 different winners, with 13 different teams competing in the final round. The Canucks have only been to the finals 3 times in their 41 years as a franchise and the last time they were in the finals was in '94. Game 7 was the biggest game in franchise history. It also helps that Uncasville is in Connecticut, which neighbours Massachusetts, and has a large Bruins following from what I can tell. Shitty timing, but us Canadians need our hockey fix! P.S: YAY BRUINS! WOOOOOO
He did make a beginners mistake though, I always work my schedule around the date of the Champions League final for months, so there's no way I can actually have something other to do on that day that watch football
