Well, the cover looks like a shopped version of this

The first result on Google images when you search for "nuclear explosion", no less. Not to mention a similar resolution.

 

Just listened to 'The Catalyst'. It's RED, 'Fight Inside'. The rest is probably also from RED.

 

It's fake, the voice isn't Chester.

 

That clears up whether or not the cover is real..

 

Yeah I actually used that image a few years ago for my own lame fake album cover.

 

Totally not Linkin Park, but I like the song though.

 

Just like they didn't let MTM leak right?

Yeah, it's when the album is handed in for mass production that it starts getting hard to keep a lid on it. Once it's being shipped all over the world it's impossible, a copy will "fall off the back of a truck" somewhere and find it's way online. But with a bit of luck that won't happen until the final week or 2.

I stay away from leaks anyway. Going to the shop, buying it, coming home popping in the CD, headphones to listen while I look through the artwork is far more of an experience than DLing a file.

 

It's funny going to last.fm and seeing it say that I was listening to The Catalyst by Linkin Park but that will be in a month.

 

Only 5 days before, not 2 months.

 

They're actually pretty good at keeping albums from leaking usually, and they seem to go to as many lengths as anyone to stop it from happening.

Ok guys seriously! When you look at the pic on the newspost, I can barely make out the word "Thousand". I see the "TH" but than the rest is nonsense. I think some pieces are misplaced

 

i played around with all the pieces and changed the colours on a few layers and used the colour most apparant on the water mark i think the SEPTTWENT is pretty obvious.........

but release dates all over the world are different so id probably say its SEPTEMBER or SEPTEMBER 27 not sure anyway here it is a little clearer

also half of the logo is missing so could the bottom word carry on????/

 

It's just the way the watermark is printed.
