    To those talking about it being quiet lately...

    Don't forget that this is the 4th of July weekend in the U.S. (American Independence day for those of you outside of the States). It's traditionally a family oriented weekend with extended vacations and little work.

    I wouldn't be surprised at all to know that Linkin Park took the weekend off to enjoy some family time, especially if they're going to begin ramping up their schedule to promote a fall release for a new album and tour.

    It's funny that you said that because when I look at Phoenix's Tweets, he's always watching the World Cup...hahaha. LP's new album is being delayed by Phoenix's lack of presence at the studio :D

    But in all honesty, I do think that the main pieces of the album music are done. Chester hasn't been mentioned forever and at this point I expect most of the main music is done. I'm guessing now they're going back over a few last songs' backing vocals and simple instrumentals. Plus I'm sure they're doing a lot of live performance preparations.

    I think everyone should stop speculating, go get some air. If you're in the US enjoy the weekend, stop thinking about linkin park. Respond to other threads instead of this one lol
