Message 3 - The Catalyst /// August 2

If we receive another puzzle this week...definitely they are making this thing of revealing each track!!!

Let´s wait!!! Maybe saturday or sunday we receive another puzzle

 

I'm thinking it may have something to do with Transformers 3.... Or maybe a new game?

 

Definitely no. This has to be with the new album, Mike said it.

 

Mike just said "don't assume". That's neither a confirmation nor denial that A Thousand Suns/The Catalyst are album/single. I think he just doesn't want anyone jumping the gun before things are officially announced.

That's why I'm still pretty sure ATS is the title.
If the next puzzle reveals the album release date then I'd be certain ATS is the album title (could also be a song name).

 

Linkin Park did in fact keep saying they wanted to put out their records different. Also I don't see how anyone help but notice but they keep saying they want to do something "new" Maybe it's not a concept album but the way it's released is the "concept" Also in that note it said he didn't want to give anything away, or ruin the surprises. So I think we're in for some really awesome different things from this band. I have no idea what they could be though.

 

I can't imagine what The Catalyst would be, if it isn't a song. They didn't just write lyrics for the sake of hiding letters in them. And with the lplive leak and all the hype...August seems like the perfect time to release a new single. There are too many reasons why The Catalyst would be the new single. Mike might be referring to people thinking that 1000 Suns is the album name...but I don't think The Catalyst could be anything else.

 

I really hope the albums isn't called A Thousand Suns. It sounds kinda generic

 

Very important imo! Also it's very important that the title is very catchy, just like a lyric. People will catch on much faster this way!
But the names of the tracks/album is least important to us fans right? We just can't wait to hear their new creation ...

The fact that we have to wait for this long is also starting to grow on me, I just love the fact that waiting for it gives me a big epic feeling when the album finally arrives .. this way it stays special! I think I will wait untill I can get the new album legally this time around and once I've bought it I'll pop it into my car stereo and give it a blast then GREAT!!!

 

Well, if the new album is called A Thousand Suns then I think the point that the puzzle that reveal it was so hard was so that the fans would really deep down to find the meaning of it thus explaining why Linkin Park choose the name.

 

Well, the meaning is based around nuclear bombs/war, right? At least, that's what I made of it.

 

I don't think they will reveal album release date. See, the album has just been done a short while ago, there's still a long way to the release. As mike said "we will get music much sooner", the single is here, not the album.

Yeah, I have no idea if A Thousand Suns is even the album title, but if it is, I'd like to know more about why they chose it.

 

Mike said the album wasn't even done yet in the chat after the 1000 Suns message, so I'm not sure if we have reason to say that it is done yet.

 

I remember he said it was done..along with the more music soon quote.
