Unless they're switching the set every night , every show... rotation of some songs or dropping Given Up, Numb, New Divide or even Faint.
Even then, the set list would be so high in energy. They hardly have 2-3 songs that slow things down. Castle of Glass, The Iridescent medley, Numb, Crawling. Every other song will basically have the band and the crowd jumping around. Something tells me that the band will no longer be "carnivorous" after this album cycle ends.
I wanted to put my thoughts down before I upload the new songs. First off, the best way to describe this setlist is visceral. The song progression was very well chosen and the energy was almost always high, the crowd was also really loud so that certainly helped. There were some really cool instrumental stuff going on that really mixed up the normal setlist that we've been hearing since MTM. Lastly, Chester and Mike's performance was extremely good, much better than anything I've heard personally or on video. Chester's scream was pretty good, but was controlled. Mike deserves a most improved vocalist award for his performance tonight. I'll post the songs up now on Youtube and send out links .
The quality came out pretty good, you'll have to excuse my off key singing though, I could barely hear myself They are processing right now.
The instagram snippets LPA keeps posting on twitter and FB sound amazing. Honestly, HT era should have been the most exhausting since they performed in over 300 shows in a year or something. I would send you a cookie or something, if I could. Thanks for taking the effort
Man, from the snippet on instagram, it seems like that new hip hop medley is KILLER. I didn't think they had actually played the Remember The Name beat too, I though it was just the verse. That's fucking cool now!
So, when Instagram came out with video, I thought it really was weird. But they finally have another purpose! I got excited watching those! (First and only purpose before this was skateboarding videos )
Here's the recording I got of Until It's Gone: http://youtu.be/rM8sGlB-jgE I was tweeting the setlist so I started it late (just after the first verse), and as I was also front and center but smushed up against the railing, I didn't have the maneuvering space to turn my phone sideways, but the quality is good and the song sounded great. Hope you guys enjoy.
