i hope joel silver and the brothers keep it as 3. i like it as three. When star wars ended in the early 80s, they all wanted to know what happens after the last movie, so they read books. When the matrix ended in 2003, everyone wants to know what happens after revolutions, we dont want books, we want a never ending, massive multiplayer online role playing game... B)

lpfan05 (I forget your name right now d'oh)

They could have done a much better job, in my opinion. Matrix was made popular by its crazy bullet time and kung fu action. The final, which was supposed to be crazy, turned out to be nothing like it's predecessors. It was a sci fi space movie(minus the space). That wasn't what we want to see, we want to see awesome action scenes like the Highway scene in Reloaded, not some pseudo-mechwarrior suits shooting at sentinels for 45 minutes. Although, it did tie up some loose ends, there had better be another movie, because to use this as a final, kind of ruins it.

Don't think that I'm badmouthing Matrix at all, or that I don't like it. I was really into the 1st and Reloaded. This was a bit of a let-down:(. Unless, of course there is another movie - then this wouldn't be so bad

    He said NO SPOILERS!

Anyways Neil, I can see what you mean. But that's exactly what I wanted in the movie. You may want some more of the same thing from the other 2 movies but the departure was a good move because you don't want 3 movies that look like they're copying right after one another. I think the Smith vs Neo fight was amazing, as well as the Machines vs Soldiers of Zion battle scene.

    And my name's, Mark. ;)

Damnit! I knew it, I just wasn't quite sure. But I suppose that's right, but they could have balanced the Zion fight with some more fighting.

    M3 was SOOOOOOO fantastic.
My only comlaint is that the was minor Bullet-time in this one.
Oh well, though there's supposed to be no sequel to it...
Dou think Warner is so dumb to let so much money go past its nose?

Hey man here is how it goes for me.....................

    Matrix 9.5
    Matrix reloaded 7.8
    Matrix revolutions 8.7

matrix bad stuff! The whole unhooking from the matrix was a little weird, umm, that’s it. good stuff everything about it...I could go on and on and on, how it revolutionized movie making and is to this day still being coped on TV and cinema.

matrix reloaded bad stuff could have been better with, better acting, it was very poor from the new characters introduced, cept Merovingian, seraph, and the sex scene was uncalled for, poorly done, and showed neos butt, don’t want to see that thank you!!!good stuff better story, way tighter action scenes, and a good chock at the end.

matrix revolutions good stuff had a great ending, best fight scenes ever, sad sad parts were well done, and acting has improved. the new stuff they brought in was great, train man, I could go on....bad stuff some stuff is left to you to decide, and some answers never given, first 30 minutes lacked, once you get to Bane and neo trin it looks up!

Matrix Revolutions set a world record with $204 Million dollars made worldwide in it's first week. They beat The Two Towers' record of $188 Million in it's first week. That's just insane.

It was 5 days not a full week, I just saw it on the news. So it will probably gross more than that for the first week making HISTORY :D but Episode 3 will rip everything up :p
