See, it's people like you that give religion a good name and balance out the people who would destroy the world fighting that their religion was the "best"...

I still disagree with organized religion as a whole, but you're right, you gotta take what works for you...

How could it be over? If a discussion could be over forever, than every thread in this forum would of just.. stopped. Unless of course, it started going off topic.

Somehow, I highly doubt that. People are always making fun of politics. But you are right. With politics, it gets a little personal? I don't know how to say it.

Okay. Fine. I'll get serious again. Since we just had a pretty serious debate about all of this, one would think you'd be happy.

I am happy. We had a very good discussion. But I don't see on how all because the person who disagreed with us left gives us reason to stop caring about the issue. I'm not saying you guys stopped caring. But once everyone agrees, no one bothers talking about the issues. At least, that's the way I see it.

It gets really boring when everyone agress on something and we still talk about it.

I rather just kid around like we did in the chat and earlier in this thread.

I don't see how it seeming boring makes the issue unimportant. I just don't.

I agree with everyone. If everyone thought that it was ok. I don't remember.

because we all agree on the subject and we'd end up repeating ourselves and whatnot.

If you have nothing left to say, don't say anything else. Don't keep posting just to raise your post count. All I see now is random chatting. Stop.

I have to give you a hand Lorn, I agree with you. I'm glad someone on the forums was machure enough to step out with a subject like this, most would be uncomfortable. I know I would.

Oh next time, when I say for you to shut up in the chatroom, don't take it seriously i'm sorry if you took that as rude.

for a good debate or serious discussion, you need people who disagree, but everyone here agrees that choking the chicken is good and has probably done it, so what's left to debate?

So you're saying that if everyone agrees that its wrong to kill people ,for example, than the issue doesn't matter. That it doesn't matter anymore that people are being killed because we all agree it's wrong?

I mean, I understand what you're saying. It does get repetitive. But remember, repetitiveness is what got us here. I mean, Martin Luther King Jr. kept talking about his dream to a point that perhaps it could be considered repetitive. But it was for a reason. A good one at that.

I'm not saying you're wrong or anything. But you know. All because something looks finished, don't mean it is.

I thought I could put my two cents in on this topic. Hopefully it's not too late.

Grades K-8th I went to a Catholic school. In 8th grade I had class that talked about growing up, sex, making right choices etc. When the topic masturbation came up, my teacher said that it wasn't "pure". Pure was used a lot during sexual topics. In my mind I thought, "Should I be believing this?" The whole class was really bs and it made it seem like sex and masturbation was a bad thing. In reality it isn't. Masturbation is completely innocent and natural. How else are you going to relieve the sexual tension?

I am a very religious person, mostly due to me being in a Catholic school all my life. Even though I am in high school, I still have the same morals and values as I did back then. I do respect other peoples religions.

I see nothing wrong with masturbation. Everyone does it and you definitely shouldn't feel ashamed of doing it. Hell, I even do it. :shifty:
    So, appreciate and masturbate!
