Well the first month on that planet she was sleeping outside. I'm sure that's going to traumatize her. The only thing that I really hated was creating a love triangle for no apparent reason other than to make the audience feel bad for Fitz. It's cheap, lazy, and bad writing. Unless Will is a major plot point moving forward, it would have been much better writing to make that character a woman or a much older man. Making it a hunky man is just a cheap attempt to pull at our heartstrings and add shallow drama to an otherwise extraordinarily intriguing storyline.
Man, the pacing's been pretty fast this season. They're not dragging out any of the plots, wonder if they're working with a lot of material this time.
Wow, what a great episode! For anyone that missed this: Malik's Speech: Thousands of years ago, an Inhuman was born on this planet that was destined to rule it. So powerful, so fearsome, that others were consumed with dread, so they banished it from earth. Sent it through the portal to a distant planet. Hydra was founded with the sole purpose of engineering it's return. Over generations, Hydra has taken different shapes. The entity has been given different names. But every generation has sent men through the portal, hoping to save or at least serve our leader on the other side. Now we're building an army for it to command when it returns. And you and I will rule beside it. So, is that the person Will was afraid of and the one who took form in front of Simmons? Man, I'm pumped for the next episode
I think it is. I remember seeing an article that compared the current storyline to Jonathan Hickman's 2010 SHIELD run, which is currently on hiatus. It mentioned something about Hydra and SHIELD going wayyy back in the older days.
Fucking hell man. This show is too fucking good. And to think, that wasn't even the mid-season finale. My only grips is that the killing of Rosalind seems a bit too soon, as we were just getting to know her, but it was extremely effective. Pissed off Coulson was a joy to watch. Though I love Agent Carter, it taking the place of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for 9 weeks is going to be a real pain in the ass. Why can't they just air the shows concurrently? Season 2 of Agent Carter was originally going to air on the 2nd of January, but got delayed two weeks because of the State Of the Union Address. #ThanksObama
Well, that was an okay episode but it brought all the story together. To think that It's powers include mind control of dead bodies makes it a bit less ominous but just as menacing. That explains the "sacrifices" and the casual conversation between Fitz and It/Will makes more sense (Fitz remarking he smelled terrible etc).
Well, Ward may be dead but it's not like Brett Dalton is gone from the show. He's still going to be a series regular as whatever is using him as a host.
With a development like that, I don't see him surviving a couple of years, let alone the season. Unless they pull a Flash and get alternate universe Ward. Brett may be still in the show, but Ward, the guy we knew since season 1, is dead. That's a milestone for the series already. I kinda wish it was Fitz or Quake who would've done the deed though.
