Great finale. The only thing I really disliked was Mister Hyde. That was a pathetic attempt. What made it worse was when he got his memory rearranged and you knew he'd likely never be on the show again. The buildup was fucking massive and we got essentially nothing. Though it was a good way to close off his character and there were good moments. My other annoyance is Skye not completely vaporizing her mom. Other than that the episode delivered.
Luke Mitchell (Lincoln) has been upgraded to the main cast for season three. I'm guessing he's going to be a big part of Skye's Secret Warriors moving forward. And I'm hoping they upgrade J. August Richards to the main cast as well. He's been phenomenal as Deathlok and needs more screen time and working with Skye's Secret Warriors throughout the season would be a fantastic way to develop his character even more.
How about Henry Simmons? Also, I'm hoping for J. August Richards as well. EDIT - Henry Simmons is officially a regular next season.
Henry Simmons has been promoted to the main cast for season three. edit — Fuck. Didn't see your ninja edit.
The official Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Instagram account posted a photo of Skye/Daisy, imploring fans to search for a hidden message in the image. Here's the original image: (I screenshotted it from the original page, since Instagram doesn't let you directly save pics. You might be able to see the hidden message in the background without editing.) But here's the image, with the brightness and contrast both turned up: Here you can clearly see the hidden message... or question, rather: "Can you keep a secret?" This is obviously a reference to what Skye will be up to during season three, directly referencing the Secret Warriors.
There's a new image pictured on the SHIELD Instagram. It's a SHIELD logo, but when you adjust the filter.... It says.... aakljdadshklsahkjdsahkjdshckhsdkcns Also, http://variety.com/2015/tv/news/secret-warriors-agents-of-shield-season-3-1201529279/

As revealed by the cast at the San Diego Comic Con, Skye's now going by her real name, Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennett); her code name will, indeed, be Quake; and she'll be leading a new team called the Secret Warriors, which will include Lincoln (Luke Mitchell). The team's also getting a new airplane, called the Zephyr One. Additionally, the Inhuman called Lash will be involved during season three. In the comics, Lash, introduced in 2014, utilizes energy absorption, conversion, and manipulation powers. He was created when Black Bolt set off a Terrigen bomb over Manhattan, and spends his time hunting down other Inhumans and determining whether or not they're fit to be allowed to continue to use their powers. I'm guessing Lash's creation will occur thanks to the Terrigen crystals the team left at the bottom of the ocean at the end of season two, rather than thanks to Black Bolt's Terrigen bomb.
Hello Daisy Johnson. [thumb]http://media.comicbook.com/uploads1/2015/07/chloe-bennett-600x450-145755.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://media.comicbook.com/uploads1/2015/07/chloe-bennett-2-600x800-145754.jpg[/thumb]
Variety's confirmed Blair Underwood (L.A. Law) will be returning to S.H.I.E.L.D. as Dr. Andrew Garner in season three. Additionally, Entertainment Weekly's reporting Constance Zimmer (Boston Legal, Entourage, House of Cards) will be joining the cast of S.H.I.E.L.D. in season three as the head of a new government agency going toe-to-toe with Phil Coulson and his team. It's currently unknown whether she'll be playing an existing character from the comics or a brand-new character created for the show.
It's been revealed that Luke Mitchell's (Neighbours) character Lincoln will have a codename for season three: Sparkplug. I'm kind of holding out hope that that's a nickname-codename that everyone's got for him. I'm hoping that his real codename's something much cooler, like Shock or Zappy McLightningpants or something.
Digging the new aesthetics, not digging the all-black monochrome color. But hot damn, Chloe Bennet. With additional details here (including how Chloe Bennet guessed that Skye was Daisy Johnson ahead of time): http://www.latimes.com/entertainmen...nett-debuts-quake-costume-20150913-story.html
