I don't want to piss people off and repeat it over and over but based on turtle guy's description, this song fits. It would start out as something like this then somewhere turn into a shredding rock ballad. We jut need TurtleGuy to show up. I haven't seen him all day today
I'd prefer that it turns out to be a song strictly for the soundtrack but I guess I wouldn't mind either way It'd be quite funny it the song turned out to not have come from LP at all but was just some random pick for the trailer. The voice does heavily resemble Shinoda's but the singing is that little bit better than anything we've ever heard from him on a studio recording ...
Here's your confirmation from someone that attended last week's Listening Party not named TurtleGuy (She had one of three reviews we got): https://twitter.com/liljanetr7/status/471874309279842305
So, apparently, I've now spoiled another song from "The Hunting Party" for myself. On the other hand, this preview says good things about the album.
Finally conformation! SOUNDS EPIC Wouldnt be surprised of this is bet song off of THP EDIT: Right before this happened I PMed TurtleGuy. We can get a second conformation from him the next time he comes on LPA just to make sure!
Yep! Sounds great to me! ALITS was the song I was most hyped for and seems like I was right. I think it could be one of LPs best
If you listen to the song, towards the end of the preview before the explosion, drums start coming in and then they "stop" I have a feeling this is as TurtleGuy said: Starts off like an ATS song and then when those drums stop, the shredding rock comes in!
Now we wait to see what TurtleGuy also says because that tweet didn't sound the most promising. Although I do believe the tweet. The song fits right into the review so ok betting it is. From this clip, sounds like it could be the best album closer yet EDIT: and pretty much everyone was positive about it! Positivity about THP :yay:
she says it sounds like it. That isn't very convincing tho. Its either yes or no. Not sure how you can forget the last song you heard off the album, I'd think it'd be the one to come to memory best.
Though understood most of us haven't heard ALITS, I'm beginning to wonder if Warner Bros might've been better off releasing this over UIG as the second single.
I'm thinking it will be, honestly. This is why we are hoping LPA member TurtleGuy can give us double conformation the next time he comes on And it sounds like what TurtleGuy wrote in his review. Funny thing is when I first heard it and paid attention to the lyrics, I said to myself that these lyrics could fit under a title named "ALITS". Was gonna look up to see if "ALITS" was a medaphor and forgot and forgot to post that thought here. This song is like 6:30 long. If you realease it as a single you have to make a radio edit and it probably loses the overall atmosphere of the song. And LP closers are always something unique (well not Numb ) to the album and would never really work well as singles or shouldn't be singles because of the unique ending to the albums they bring.
