I can't find a legal or illegal way to listen. I'm off my game. I'm pumped that there's 6 instrumentals, though.

Wow, not diggin' "Oh No" at ALL. How did this end up being POA?

    EDIT:
Wow, I had some really good opinions/reviews of the tracks and genius me clicked "back" in my browser -_- so, short version...

    Unfortunate = uh, yeah, no.
What We Don't Know = LIKE PTB, but not better, IMO.
Oh No = yeah, "oh no" is right - how'd this become POA?
I Have Not Begun = some of Mike's best work, but no buildup in song.
Pale = SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON AN ALBUM WITH LYRICS.
Pretend To Be = still boss.
Divided = Mike has too much fun with Pro Tools sometimes, clearly, but Rob is a beast.
What I've Done (M. Shinoda Remix) AKA Distorted Remix on BIO single = why is this on here?
Coal = can't imagine Mark or Chester on this, but maybe Mike. Maybe. Sounds like Xero tried to write ATS.
Halo = Sounds like it would have been a beautiful song but I guess similar to Numb and Numb definitely packed the bigger punch to be on Meteora.

All in all though, LPUX > LPU9.

Don't NBC get relatively low ratings though?

NBC stands for National Broadcasting Company. Mike was kind of doing a play on words, and a very clever one at that.

Btw, "Coal" is INCREDIBLE for a song made back in 1997. It really seems like LP had the ability to write an ATS-esque song even back in the day. It's insane that such good music from that time period is in the vault. I hope we hear some new Xero with vocals someday.

I figured it was supposed to be wordplay. I still found it sort of funny and ironic though, but that's probably just me haha.

No I too saw the irony lol. Maybe he didn't release the track because he realized that NBC sucks. (They forever lost my respect for their royal bufu-ing of Conan)

I will be conducting my review of each track in the form of a haiku:

    Unfortunate
    Piano reminds me
of Nine Inch Nails a little.
    Strings and beat are sex.

    What We Don't Know
    The vocals are 'meh'.
    The instrumental rocks, though.
    The bridge is better.

    Oh No
    Took me by surprise.
    Definitely a highlight.
    What more can I say?

    I Have Not Begun
    I lost faith in Mike
Did the verse here restore it?
    P-prob-ba-ba-bly.

    Pale
    Piano, drums, synth
    and strings. Suddenly, GUITARS.
    TEN THOUSAND OF THEM.

    Pretend To Be
    I like this song tons.
I don't know why. So random.
    Like Derek's mom. MILF?

    Divided
    Some really nice synth
I really like the drum part
    Perfect to cruise to

    What I've Done (Distorted Remix)
    It's still a good song
    But yeah, I gotta wonder
    Why this song again?

    Coal
    This doesn't sound old.
Okay, the drum parts a bit.
    Atmospheric groove.

    Halo
    Love the guitar here
No vocals, I can see why
    Difficult to fit?

Wow....Meteora had some amazing instrumentals. The intrumentals are nothing like HT but the vocals would have been mehh so glad there aren't any.
What I find just amazing is how there is a noticeable difference in style between the albums and these songs. You can automatically tell which one is from which era.

What We Don't Know and Pale, own it for me.
I was muttering along even before I finished my first listen.
