Here's the summary, as always, for the LPU Chat with Chester:

• LOST IN THE ECHO was the most difficult LIVING THINGS track to write
• Some songs from the new album took longer to write. An overall difficult album to write
• Chester wears in-ear monitors live while Brad doesn’t wear any monitors. He enjoys hearing the fans at shows
• Chester watches Adventure Time with his kids.
• The band enjoys receiving letters from the fans. They have a warehouse for the toys and gifts they receive.
• DBS will not be making new music soon since both Julien-K and Linkin Park are busy with touring.
• Prefers singing indoors. Best shows are in the big arenas.
• Favorite track from A Thousand Suns is Robot Boy due to its harmonies and he also likes When They Come For Me. Chester likes to listen to the album as a whole.
• The band will probably do something for the next Transformers film if Michael Bay approaches them
• The band is also currently working on new demos. They never stop writing.
• CASTLE OF GLASS has been rehearsed. Something special will be happening with the song and Chester is excited to play it.
• Chester plays the guitar, the piano, and the drums but not well. He writes on them, but he is not the best performer.
• At Camp Freddy, Chester will be performing Like A Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan and Friday I’m In Love by The Cure. With Mike, they will be performing Fight for Your Right Beastie Boys, One Step Closer, Sex Type Thing by Stone Temple Pilots, Walk This Way by Run DMC and Aerosmith, and Paradise City by Guns 'n Roses
• Band is not performing Crawling live anymore because they need a break with the often played tracks. Chester wants to miss it and then it will be placed back into setlists.
• Hates seeing shady things during concerts such as girls getting groped when crowd surfing
• BURN IT DOWN is the most difficult song from the new album to perform
• How is he preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse: by stock-piling guns (.50 calibers) and pistols
• Really enjoys performing acoustic because it allows him to hear instrumentals very clearly and cleanly. Some of the best DBS performances were acoustic
• Loves Walking Dead. Called himself a TV Whore
• Will go see the The Hobbit
• Thinks Mike is without a doubt a workaholic (may have a problem and may need an intervention)
• Loves Depeche Mode (one of his favorite bands)
• Loves lemons
• Would love to do a track with 30 Seconds To Mars (another one of his favorites)
• Linkin Park works diligently to set high safety standards for live shows (very important to band)
• Prefers Iron Man ahead of Hulk and Captain America movies
• Does not like nu-metal
• When Mike was showing his recent Numetal mixtape, everyone who heard asked him to stop
• Why Chester is wearing glasses again: had lasik surgery 11 years ago because he couldn't see anyone in crowd. Then surgery started failing a year ago. You can't do Lasik surgery too many times so he started wearing glasses again
• Would love to be a cameo in a movie again, but wants to do a Broadway play (an ultimate goal). Was in theater when he was younger and enjoyed performing on stage.
• Embarrassing Story: Chester got really drunk and went to the bathroom. He came out and forgot to pull pants up. Walked around with pants down
• Really loves Coldplay
• Is okay with Snoop Dogg changing his name to Snoop Lion. Impressed with his spiritual awakening
• Loves Muse
• Screamed VICTIMIZED on chat
• Chester sang acoustic version of Gold Lion by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Messenger (forgot words at first), Morning After (tried twice), Happy Birthday to someone's dad, Friday I'm In Love (partially)
• Linkin Park will start performing I'LL BE GONE soon
• Chester has lots of cats
• Not sure if he remembers words of Robot Boy. He tried performing it, but thought it wouldn't sound good in the webcam scenario
• Still gets boners at shows, "you just can't see them"
• Believes in Santa Claus because he's the best
• Two craziest crowds was S. America and Norway. So loud that Chester couldn't hear
• Maybe Next time Chester and Mike can sing live together
• "Happy Holidays!"
