LPU 6.0 Tracklisting Surfaces

I really like Rob's work on Qwerty demo.
And the brushing and washing thing is fucking hillarious

 

Yay! The Qwerty demo is much more clearer than the live versions and I just love that Instrumental, I hope the album will sound somthing like that too!!

 

if all of you like the demo of qwerty and the new instrumental, how would you rate it out of 10.

 

I reversed it, told him and then sent him the backwards version of it that I made.

are we sure QWERTY won't be on T&T?

didn't LP have some satellite interview confirming QWERTY as a track to be known as "Lies"?

mayhaps i'm insane. i don't know.

 

That same interview also claims that Announcement Service Public is just a work in progress which is due to be on the album but LP wouldn't have released a work in progress for the album on the LPU I don't think. I think QWERTY is just a song they've come up with and might play at a few shows but I doubt it'll be on the album now. I hope it is but it'd have to be alot better than the demo because I didn't dig that at all.

 

I actually like the QWERTY Demo over the live version. It's like the live version is something extra and cool to me. Don't get me wrong though, the live version does have more energy to it, but I like the stupid version of QWERTY more. It jsut sounds so...raw, and it's the first full in-studio song (one that took effort) by LP since Meteora (I believe).

 

I'll agree with Mark on this one... the QWERTTY demo just doesn't have the same energy.

And the guitars during the chorus live are SO much better than what's on the demo.

I like how the bridge sytle was changed.
It wasn't just another cheesey heavy bridge.

 

finally, I've found the songs. I already got the qwerty demo and it's awesome. It feels raw and different from the live version, 8.7/10 .

and about the announcement service public, It's awesome. It has a totally different sound from lp, yet so similar to lp and I LOVE IT, 9.3/10

 

Personally, I think A.06 owns Announcement Service Public, but it would be cool if they took this and worked with it. Also, anyone remember that amazing instrumental that Brad was drumming to on that one early LPTV Meteora episode? Damn I loved that.

 

Where Mike's dog looks like it's dead? Ha that was great.

 

Dude if LP puts either 'QWERTY' or 'ASP' on the new album I'll be REALLY annoyed because it has nothing to do with that they are saying thus far about the album.

 

I'm guessing if they were then QWERTY and ASP wouldn't be on the LPU 6.0 CD.. I was still hoping from a few tracks that didn't make the final cut though..
