LPU 4.0 Package Revealed

Unfortunately, that's what happens with a lot of fan clubs like this: some members start acting like their above others, and I hate it. If you ask me, no band should have a fan club period.

Unless it was filled with artwork, that would be amazing. Anyway, I have yet to become a member, and I still don't think I will.

 

People shouldn't blindly purchase something if they don't know the contents of what they're getting. Many people will buy LPU 4.0 once looking at the shirt and tracklist. Now, in my case, I don't care what's on the cd, because it'll add to my collection. Giving out a tracklist isn't like letting them hear the new songs, therefore we're not really spoiling anything for anyone, in fact we would be further enticing people to buy the package if we gave them the tracklist. We, as LPU members, shouldn't be looking down our noses at other non-LPU fans. It doesn't mean we're better than them, it just means we like new things more than them and are willing to pay. I'm not saying to look down upon non-LPU members. I'm just saying don't leak out the tracklisting. If it's non-live shit, then say "exclusive non-live tracks on the CD!" otherwise there won't be a surprise.

Joachim, they did a FULL concert the night at the Roxy in LA so I said they'd put the non-CC live audio tracks on the 4.0 CD. 5 bucks, watch.

...Not my fight but I still find it odd that a mod can call someone an Idiot and not get talked to or anything about it...whereas if Vampire went and called someone else an idiot in this thread, I bet he'd be warned. That's just my thoughts though.

I also don't think the tracklist should be leaked if the LPU wishes it not to be, because thats disrespecting the mods/admins of the LPU. But don't take that as me trying to tell you what to do, I'm not. I just may not stand on the same side of this issue as you do.

 

The LPU have never expressed concern about a tracklisting going out. As far as I'm concerned, more people will be enticed to buy the album if they like the tracklist. I think it's fraudulent to conceal the tracklist of a cd and force others to buy somethign that may not be worth their money. Yeah, all i've heard about the tracklisting was in a post by "Linkinjess" whom I believe to be Jessica (an admin) and at the end of the post she said "I can't tell you guys the tracklisting but it's AWESOME but some things are better left as a surprise". Something along those lines, but if the LPU hasnt had a problem with it in the past then i don't see why they would now.
