Hey, I really like this remix. Nice job. It's very different, and I love the ending. Do you play Ridge Racer? It sounds like music from the bgm, in a really good way.

I'm kind of upset because I completely rewrote it and that file wouldn't upload so I kind of have a half-way remix. It's part of my old one and part of my new one. I guess this is what would be called a work in progress?

I really wanted something different which means there are a lot of homemade samples and even if it doesn't sound good I believe I achieved that and therefore I am happy.

 

Thanks dude! I played that game once when I was like 10 but I don't remember the music for it lol. and don't worry I love video game music so that's a compliment in my book

Maybe you had the wrong file format the second time? It was being a little wierd for me cause I accidentally uploaded the wrong file, but then I closed out the window and went back in and then didn't have any trouble.

I don't think I can enter the contest, but I decided to share the remix with everyone. I worked really hard on it, since a lot of people might listen to it. This remix was especially made with my brother, Sam, in mind because he introduced me to Linkin Park. I'm very grateful for that and want to show him that he means a lot to me. Lol, sorry for getting cheesy. Anyway, thank you to everyone who decides to give my remix a listen! I hope you enjoy.

Hey people!! I didn't mention anything yet, but i was working very very hard on a remix too with a singer. I know is against the rules to have a singer, but we don't care of the contest, we just want people to hear our -different- kind of music, and if Mike could see it, that could be my whole musical life-time dream realized, not kidding.
I don't know if this can be spotlighted, probably not. Just know we set all our emotions and effort in this and just want to share it with the world.

Hey guys, I can't enter because Trinidad wasn't on the list But i made it anwayz because Linkin Park is my favourite band Listening to them since I was 6. 10 years ago Linkin Park is the very reason I got into music. Good luck to everyone who participated in this contest. Even if you didn't win, it's not to say that you're hard work didn't pay off. Like Mike said, if you really worked hard on your remix, you'll still be noted for it.

 

Yeah, I liked how Indaba changed the date from the 25th to 26th about five minutes before the end of the submission period

It doesn't make too much difference but it's good for those who have only just finished their mixes and need to do some last-minute promotion.
