This is really REALLY REALLY good, but I don't hear the mashup part of it xD It's more of a dubstep remix.

Yeah what song did you mashup?. It's very good, just seems like it's not part of this genre.

I think I might recognize the song. Time to blast my dubstep playlist to figure out what it is.

Going forward, if people could please identify the artists they included/what songs were mashed we would greatly appreciate it. This isn't actually directed at anymore in particular, but more so something in general. We recently compiled a list in private of all the entrants (so we could keep track) and a good 5-6 people didn't have any info on who they mashed making it hard to identify the tracks.

It'd just be useful going forward, that's all .

It seems to be a remix of Machine Gun by Noisia, from the Wipeout HD soundtrack. Good song, I should look up this remix :)

    EDIT

    I found it

Well I'll be damned, a mashup that becomes a dubstep remix. A two in one special .

I remixed Outkast's "B.O.B." with Skrillex's "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites". I was gonna share it here but it's been blocked on YouTube and SoundCloud. If anyone wants to check it out, you can download it at mediafire.com/uncertainsound under the album "7emix". I plan to make more dubstep mashups in the future. Actually just mixed a Linkin Park and Pendulum track the other night that I would have probably considered entering for this contest.

There are a bunch of great mash-up in here.

I'm glad you guys started doing this. A lot of great music will be made and that means a lot of music will then help and save people especially if it's Linkin Park.

Oh god, I'm following _that_ up?

...Anyway, now that I've been totally humbled:

    http://soundcloud.com/kevinwaldhof/under-my-feet-vs-blackout

It's a mash-up of "Under My Feet" by Celldweller (off his eponymous album) and "Blackout".

The terrible cutting in spots is due to the fact that I only had the instrumental and with-lyrics version of "Under My Feet", which are actually slightly different (but much more noticeably so when trying to cut between them).

Did it all in Audacity. =3

Edit: This is also my first ever time doing a mix/mash-up/anything with music, so critiques are welcome.
