Christ just let it be. It's a Power the World thing, I don't know how it'll work but I think it will benefit the organization, if people or young kids haven't donated through the official initiative channels let them have fun with this while indirectly (or directly, again, not sure) putting their grain of sand on the sustainable energy projects. Corny or not, at least they're doing something, which is a lot better than nothing.
What a bunch of whiners. I can be more positive. I am waaaaaaaaay more excited about this than the new song. Hell No. I don't believe in surprise software releases. I would not be surprised at all if somewhere out there is a group of poor souls out there working 90 hours a week to get this thing together, possibly with the prospect of being laid off once its over.

I don't know; Linkin Park's marketing department has been fairly hit-and-miss during the past year or so and some basic things like single release dates have often wound up being sent to the Twilight Zone ...
