Got to admire the dedication of the guy who came up with that theory, it's just a shame he was obviously on some bad LSD when he decided to take things completely out of context and share it.
I do, yes, but a lot of it is also grasping at straws I feel. I mean, I understand LOST has a reputation of deeper meanings and hidden contexts, but the way he tries to categorize everything into this game is a bit far fetched. Take a look at where he talks about "roles" for example. This system can be applied to every movie and tv show ever made, it's hardly justified to his theory. Also where he talks about the importance of eyes. I think where he notes the eye colour changing for characters from poster to poster, and sometimes in the show, is ultimately down to the hundreds of people who collectively work together and inevitably create continuity errors. It's nothing more in my opinion. I think a lot of his theory is pedantic, the way he takes quotes and excerpts out of context is another reason why I can't take this theory seriously. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great source of information and one of the best formulated theories out there, but just because he explains it so well and in so much detail doesn't make it any more "right" than someone who doesn't take the time to write out more than a couple of paragraphs for their theory. Ultimately, the main reason I can't take this theory seriously is because there is no way in hell I think the creators of LOST are going to justify 6 seasons as being a video game? Come on, are you serious? Really? I just can't believe that.
I don't actually think it's a video game, it would just seem like a huge let down. I agree with you, you make a great point.
OH MY FUCKING GOD!! http://au.tv.ign.com/articles/108/1087826p1.html THE FINALE HAS BEEN EXTENDED BY HALF AN HOUR!
I just hope the finale makes up for the total bullshit that season 6 is. And I also hope they all die.
I hate the ATL, I really do. But this is funny soo http://www.alexarrowsmith.com/audio/duralsacjack.mp3 haha.
They meant about the time when Christian appeared to Jack in the hospital and the smoke alarm went off. But the funny part is "appear to jack off" haha
Yeah, the guy who posted it felt insulted because people were laughing at his post, it took him a while to realize what he wrote And I think that actually when Jack saw Christian there, he was just hallucinating from pills and booze..
How can you not laugh about jack and off? And more importantly did the island enjoy it? it's why Jack isn't dead yet riiight? But seriously, I don't think he was hallucinating even though he was a druggie but Hurley can still see people off island and I think I remember Jacob saying last season saying "By the end you'll all be seeing dead people" And I really want everyone to die, it seems cruel but I just hate the ATL so much it seems like an excuse for a happy ending and closure for people too stubborn to move on. I was sad that Sun & Jin died but come on, I don't want their deaths to mean nothing and continue in some crappy alternate reality that is made of plastic and sunshine.
I'm not really sure. I think I heard it but I may have imagined it. I'll have to do some researching. But my memory says that he told it to Hurley or Jack.. I'm probably just imagining things but I'll let you know if I find out.
