oh, sorry, i read the article wrong. so they're just releasing a non-interactive one in a couple days or something?
You misread him. Mike said that an official non-personalized one will be on Youtube a few days following the LP.com debut. Any videos posted before then won't be official. It is still a music video. They have to make static copies of it to show on MTVU or whatever.
Not quite. The label fought them on this video, and then tried to make the non-interactive version come out first. Which Mike disagreed with because he thought the interactive one was way cooler. Which is to say that there was always going to be two versions. Also, I still haven't seen the video. But I'm about to.
Fairly nice video, pretty to look at, still...feels like somethings missing, maybe its cus its like the first lp video without the guys in it. Wish there was a lil more interactivity there, but still took me by suprise when i saw it, lol, good show LP XD
okay so I redownloaded Chrome and am trying it there, and it still isn't working. The loading thing gets halfway through the 8th symbol and then it just doesn't progress any further. Anyone have any tips?
Log into your FB, go to your privacy options, delete the access to the Lost In The Echo app, and then try loading the video and connect to FB through the LITE website again.
Wait, i'm confused, i mean, it's the official video or it isnt? plus i don't see Carly Francavilla in the video, shes supposed to be one of the video protagonist, isnt she? - i'm not familiar with her tho, so maybe i didn't recognize her, if shes really in the video, could someone tell me in which part.
[thumb]https://p.twimg.com/A1joczdCIAIfs7Y.jpg[/thumb] - Carly's Twitter This is Carly Francavilla. It randomly shows her throughout the video.
My hero! As for the video...mixed bag. I totally get the vibe/themes they were going for, but I dunno. One major issue I have with it is, you have all this footage of these people looking incredibly melancholy while confronting the ghosts of their pasts, and the soundtrack to all this is "YA'LL GO HARD? I GO SMART!" Whoever put Iridescent over this video footage had the right idea. It was also a bit repetitive. I don't hate it, I get it, but Arcade Fire's interactive videos were executed incredibly well. This, not quite.
Yeah, it shows her randomly, when i saw that she was gonna be a protagonist, i expected her to appear more time, like gino the ghost did.
LMAO!!!!!!! I expected that the artwork animation would be come up at this point , but was wrong . . .
I know I'm a day late but it's not even showing my a username and password. I connected to facebook and nothing. I don't know what to do. :/
I have tried doing this video like 30 times now, and I still don't get any pictures from my profile, or any pictures of actual people. They all are random, stupid pictures that it pulled up from random friends. It should at least be people's faces! If it was, it would be a really cool video.
Actually, I believe because they gave their fans a bit too much things that somehow shoot their expectation into space. Knowing LP, I put my hope down into the ground so this video did not make me "mehhhhh" as much. The screaming is a bit silly, but the "return to dust" part is nice. To CoG video then.
