ha. in a way yes and in a way no. detroit is like a mix between a massive haunted house and a museum. i'm still not sure whether i find the abandoned buildings to be eerily beautiful or just plain scary.
I'm feeling like this could be their most successful single this side of New Divide. It has something for every fan that's ever cared about Linkin Park, and it's captivating enough to pull in outsiders. Just my two cents.
i like most horror movies and all that is left but I am a Christian and I go to Mass, I will be weird or crazy but I'm so
It's been pointed out already, I had forgotten about it but that one was kinda of an international release..
So far the images and locations are reminding me of Eminem's video for "Beautiful" I'd say that's pretty easy though since Detroit has a lot of areas that look like this.
I personally love this song, the breakdown is great and it kinda reminds me of Blackout. I'm happy this is the next single! If people dislike this song simply because it's popular...well, that's just really silly, imo.
i don't think it will be their must successful. I could see it maybe being 5th most successful. 1. New Divide. 2. What I've Done. 3. Numb/Encore 4. Numb then I could see LITE come in after Numb and ahead of Bleed it Out, Shadow of the Day, and In the End. another set photo: http://instagram.com/p/MjM_xsSwJQ/
it really makes a perfect single because i see it drawing in a lot of those people who were once linkin park fans but lost interest due to MTM and ATS, etc. it touches on some HT and also on some new things all in one great song. even if these people don't like the rest of the album, they'll at least like this song i think.
This. Some people are going too hipster on it, like "oh, it appeals the masses, it's not good then" .. It's a great song to me as well. I love the whole album, though you can split it in half and tell the latter part is more experimental than the first, it doesn't mean the first batch of songs are bad because they are more traditional.. IN MY REMAINS is one of my favorites so far.
I like IBG quite a lot. Just saying. BTW Mike hinted at Detroit the other day by posting the Detroit Beautification Project in his website.
Link-inem From the pictures of the set this video is going to be great. I'm really hoping that they don't have Mr. Hahn directing this time though.
