Can you give me any info on your whole connection with labels, and how the whole process generally works?

But even if it turns out that you can't get me albums, I buy them often enough. Essay/column type writing is also something I'd love to do...

There's gonna be alot of column writing.

 

Well, over the past 2 years, I've gained a lot of contacts within the industry, and I'm always gaining more as time goes on. Publicists are the people that deal with sending out albums, tickets, passes, setting up interviews, etc, so I'm always in contact with them. Bands change publicists frequently though, so I usually end up having to call the label up and request an e-mail address for the band's current publicist. Depending upon how big the band is, management may handle a band's publicity as well, so it varies as to whom I need to contact and what I'm requesting.

Okay Like I said, I don't know if I can give my address out, but I'll be able to give you a more specific answer within the next couple days. I already sent you a couple writing samples, (Coheed and Trapt reviews I think) but I can send more if you'd like.
