Man I can't help but to keep wondering about how the song is going to transition between this clip and the one that says "Lift me up, let me go"

im listenin to HT,meteora,re-animation and M2M..like crazy...coz once ATS and the catalyst comes out..i guess for a long time i wont listen to anythin else...

 

Yeah I'm thinking the same. It'd be kind of strange, but somewhat neat if it were the reverse though. Slow, and build up to the faster parts.

Seeing that the song is almost 6minutes, I wonder if there's going to be a radio edit? I'd hate for parts of a potentially epic song to be cut.

What I'm curious is, is Chester's part at the beginning the chorus or we haven't heard it yet? Would be a huge surprise if the chorus hasn't yet been presented to us ^^

 

I was absolutely NOT serious with my statement! I was just making fun of people who tend to judge things too early. I admit that I worried about the christian aspect, but, as we said a thousand times now, there are 5 minutes left

Don't you guys remember when the band said they wanted to make something that wasn't just a single genre, this time around? Well, they always wanted that, but have had a really hard time avoiding it with almost every album.

I think that this album may accomplish that goal. So far, this is different, not only for LP, but for popular music in general - but then again, we've only heard bits of this song. Also, Mike (and everyone else in LP) was pretty accurate when they described the sound of the album back then. So far, we're hearing a lot of MPC-style beats and keyboards, and vocal harmonies. Mike said to expect that months ago.

Also, going off topic, maybe this proves that the band were always accurate when describing their records. I think that MTM seemed to be different from descriptions because their songs were always changing. On that album, they literally tried everything, so of course descriptions changed from interview to interview. Blah, blah, I could go on.

Anyway, to the point. This album seems different, but not surprising when considering how the band had described it a while ago. September 14th will give us the answer, when ATS drops : )

 

Wow, guess I was wrong when I predicted that there wouldn't be much guitar, haha.

The more of the song I hear, the more I like it.
