LIVING THINGS Remix Subscription #4 - September - UNTIL IT BREAKS (Datsik Remix)

I was expecting more when I read it's Until It Breaks...

I think for me it is now:

1. Until It Breaks (Datsik Remix)
2. Burn It Down (RAC Mix)
3. Burn It Down (Swoon Remix)
4. Burn It Down (Paul van Dyk Mix)

 

It was actually cool at first but got pretty repetitive, But more than anything I'm disappointed he didn't do anything with Brad's part. I don't understand how he could just cut it out.

Well . . . that certainly put me to sleep.

 

I was really let down with this actually. I was expecting something great after all the BID remixes, but, sadly, no. It is a good club beat. That's about it honestly.

 

Not a fan, because repetitive and all, but still, not as repetitive as the 8 min dance remix of BID

 

I don't know, but I haven't really been impressed with any of the remixes Hoping something good comes out next time. I wish LP mixed them instead and LOL at Chesters part. It just came on as I was typing this. Ahhhhhh

 

Thank God I didn't pay for these remixes or whatever the deal was. I fell asleep listening to this which was helpful because I needed some shut eye badly! Thanks Datsik for the nap time.

Nothing can surpass the fucking brilliance of the original UNTIL IT BREAKS.

 

I have listened to DATSIK for a while now and unfortunately this is not his best remix yet.
DATSIK has a reputation for his heavy hitting dubstep anthems however this did not quite meet the high expectations set by his previous work.
I am glad to hear a song that isn't BURN IT DOWN being remixed for once to be perfectly honest and this certainly isn't a bad remix. I have listened to it more than once but I'm sure that if it wasn't in the LIVING THING Remix Subscription I would forget about it pretty quick.
It's not as "in-your-face" as I had hoped and it is quite repetitive and droning however it does have potential and is listenable.
Well done, DATSIK; nice try but it's hard to impress around here.

 

This is the first remix I've actually found interesting. Repetitiveness aside, there's actually a lot of cool things going on in this track.

I'm not sure whether I like it or not, but after the last couple BID remixes, this isn't too bad.

Lately, I've been disappointed with these LP releases. First a dumb interactive music video and now the first remix that truly sucks. I'd rather listen to every version of BURN IT DOWN

 

Well this is how you ruin one of the best tracks on the album

 

This. None of these remixes are complete garbage (and I like a lot of the remix artists), but when you have an album like Reanimation to compare it to the bar for remixes is set insanely high by Linkin Park fans. People can't come with these stock, one day in the studio remixes. The worst remix on Reanimation is better than all of these LT remixes.

 

I like this remix for what it is, it certainly has some interesting sounds. I'm also getting a totally different vibe from the remix than I get from the original song, which isn't bad necessarily. Makes the song feel fresh.

I'm just glad they're moving onto different songs, instead of just more BID
