Far from the truth. The only thing wrong with that intro was that Mike's MPC was acting up. Everything else was executed perfectly and sounds just like it did at other shows on that tour. FYI, the first portion of that intro is just as much an outro to Breaking the Habit as it is an intro to Numb. They start that transition off by playing the guitar/bass part from Breaking the Habit, just moved up from the key of E to the key of F# to match the key Numb is in.
Finally I found this Intro for Numb that I´ve heard a long time ago but couldn´t forget. I think it´s one of the best Numb intros ever.
I just love this one - it's also one of my favourite shows ;D
My favourite ones are - Intro - Breaking The Habit (2009); What I've Done (Ambo); No More Sorrow (Extended) Outro - Faint (Extended), hands down
May I just say that not only was that a solid intro, but that overall was a great performance. I genuinely think that despite how disappointed I usually get when it comes to Linkin Park's live performances, "New Divide" is always a solid one for them. Thank you for sharing this. This is a really cool intro. I'm surprised I haven't seen this before, but that's super neat. Very well done, and good find!
Came across this one randomly today. Not too special. Just adding to the list.
