Unusual as it may seem, Linkin Park, in collaboration with Stars of the Season, have filmed a new video for the fourth single off of A Thousand Suns, "Iridescent." Chester has been a long time supporter of the Stars of the Season, and Linkin Park recently performed at the annual Stars of the Season fundraising soirée. A few pictures were posted on Instagram by Dave Kinsler and Jack Chapman showing Chester performing. The new video, which is written and directed by Jack Chapman, is supposed to arrive "very soon." Update: Video has now been released and you can check it out below. What do you think of the new video? How does it compare to the original video directed by Joe Hahn? Share your thoughts in our forums! Source: YouTube
It will defintly be better. Dont like this "Illuminati" kind of video with the speeded up Transformers Version.
I can see some medical stuff in the background, it probably will be some low budget video to promote/support the charity...
I agree with you, the studio version is so much better. This will be interesting, definitely looking forward for this video.
This is nice, and for a good cause too. Iridescent is one of my favorites of theirs, so it's nice to see another video for it.
I gotta say that I find it kinda strange that Iridescent will have another music video... But I love that song, and it'll remind me of the ATS era which I've always loved too! On another note, when will we have more music videos from The Hunting Party? Forever hoping the next one will be A Line In The Sand!!
i doubt it that they would do a video for theire longest (studio) song in theire career would be cool, but i doubt it. If they will do one , i would say it will be Rebellion or Wastelands.
I can almost guarantee this will just be another benefit music video for the Cardon Children's Hospital (the primary charity the Stars of the Season benefit is for), like LP has already done with both Burn it Down and Castle of Glass. Probably mostly footage from the original video with some footage provided by the hospital and a few new shots of Chester mixed in. Hardly newsworthy in my opinion (as evidenced by the fact most people don't even realize this is their third year in a row putting together a music video for this organization).
"Another benefit music video" or not, it's still something that the fans (or at least one fan) out there may be interested in, and thus it's newsworthy. Even if you find it boring and mindnumbingly pointless lol.
Ill take anything ATS related. Plus, the music video for Iridescent wasn't that good, so hopefully this one might be better.
