This track is fucking huge. This feels like LP figured out that they can make a "firecracker" track that doesn't end after 2:30. There is no downtime here, this will be the sickest opener in YEARS YEARS YEARS for the new tour if they can pull that off. I have full faith that is is going to tie A Thousand Suns for me.
Agreed. Everyone's I sent it to said they loved it, can't say the same for the other album singles since M2M. Friends love it and to be honest it seems like an evolved return from Meteora/Hybrid Theory. That's why fans are flipping their shit.
Jesus...Brad stepped up. I love it...Can't believe it's LP. When I heard this was going to be a heavy album I was worried it was going to be heavier version of Living Things like Meteora was to Hybrid Theory, but honestly apart from a few tracks this is already better than anything off Living Things. Excited to hear the album! I wonder if there will be any other featured guests?
Its completely different from their first two albums but has the energy of their first two albums, so I can see what you are saying!
What I meant is the context of the vibe in the track, much rawer than you usually hear from MTM & much darker anthem that you haven't heard from A Thousand Suns..
It worked with Bleed It Out for me. I've listened to the song a couple of times now & love it more & more every time. I'm thinking this is gonna be an epic LP album. No wonder they named it "Carnivores Tour". This song is seriously meaty. Am dying for the albums release. What an epic LP week this has been. Gotta love the way they go about their business. If you're anything like me you've been hooked & trolling all the forums since Mike posted the "First Linkin Park 2014 Studio Update" blog. They seriously know how to intrigue their fans. Not that I wasn't on the forums every day before that, but it's been really intense ever since then. I just hope they bring this tour to Australia some time in the near future. How good would it be to hear "Guilty All The Same" live!!!
Wow, chester is really hyping the album up. Brad** Mike said in the interview that he forced Brad to play guitar in this album. "Mike has played most of the guitar on the ”latest albums”, because Brad has not wanted to. Mike motivated him for this album by saying ”do something that would make the 16 year old you want to learn to play guitar"."
Chester did tweet earlier that this single was supposed to come on Thursday. I hope there will still be more news tomorrow. : / What an awesome single though! So ambitious and more intricate than I was expecting. Really looking forward to this album but I hope there are some intimate melodic breaks in the chaos. I may be in the minority hear but, I don't know if I want 12 songs of this. I'd like to hear a song or two that changes the pace a bit.
