What's worse is when you're in New Zealand and you're all like, "BUT THE WEEKEND IS OVER ALREADY. GIVE US NEW MUSIC"

How credible are they? LPLive Twitter says it's a "troll move", but who knows. Edit: Ah nvm, oh well. Still probably coming within the next few weeks regardless.
Lol, highly doubt it's related to new Linkin Park music even if that's what they're trying to ambiguously hint at. Even if new music exists in promo form it would be locked up and with Warner employees right now and not out in the wild. Also aren't they based in Russia? Forgive me if I'm wrong. Also it's very easy to guess Tuesday for new music if that's what they're alluding to. If you have that information it seems pointless to keep it to yourself. I think the CD is unrelated and they're being purposefully ambiguous. I'd love to be proved wrong though!
At one point we weren't too sure on the initial potato snippet that leaked for LT. Who knows! I really do think next week here. Patience mudda truckas P.S. I've done this waiting since Meteora and I'm just as excited as I was back then! Choo choo!
The fact that we've been proven wrong about things before does not automatically make any further reasoned speculation automatically wrong, especially when we have an official telling us "We don't do that anymore". Maybe it could just be a reverse troll and the CD is unrelated Linkin Park material. They could be intentionally muddying the waters so they could get more attention when it's posted. But that's just baseless speculation on my part.
Via MKH in the shoutbox. Guess that means it's factually complete. Last we heard was that it was being mixed, but I guess this means mastering's done too.
OMG OMG WOW SO EXCITED CAN'T WAIT THIS IS AWESOME!!!!! Oh wait, it's fake. Never mind. Just a typical LP new album hype train moment. Lol.
Now if I'm correct then this is how it's gonna be -They finish the album by the end of Jan which has been done -The single drops early Feb followed by the album marketing -Sometime in March or April they eventually drop the bomb.
Looks like some concept album is comming! Is 'Making Plants' an album title and first single at once?
Chester is unusually active on social media this time around. Obviously, he wouldn't be saying things just to say them (for anyone thinking they are accidental tweets).
Whatever LPCatalog is purporting to have, it's not new music. I am willing to bet on that. Warner doesn't do watermarked CD's anymore (as Adam Ruehmer, a Warner employee, also verified in an above screenshotted FB reply), and neither does the majority of record labels. Take it from someone who receives advances on a daily basis for AltWire. Most, if not all promos (especially pre-release) are digital and hosted on a website that tracks your IP address. They didn't even send me a physical advance for the last LP Record almost three years ago. The Hunting Party was on a site that required me to register and log on (which is how Warner did Disturbed's latest too), and other record labels typically use copyright protected websites like 'Haulix' or 'PromoJukebox' which are two very common distribution websites for music advances. Thus based on everything I know of how Warner handles their promo, I would say it's extremely unlikely that LPCatalog has the new song. They likely have something cool that the fans will enjoy, but as LPLive said...it's a troll move, and I'm not sure what they're expecting to gain from this. They're playing dangerously here as they're hyping something mysteriously for views that will ultimately turn out not to live up to expectations.
Several recent LP lead singles made their debut over here on BBC Radio 1 with Zane Lowe. Shame that wont be happening this time, used to love the hype of tuning in at 7 and waiting through the show for THAT moment he'd say "I've got Chester Bennington here....."
